Finally free! More soldering and unsoldering of junk pieces

After many unsuccessful attempts at pulling the ferrule, we decided to unsolder the mouthpipe. Into parts. I finally was able to free the upper Main tuning slide after soldering in junk pieces to both ends and heating and pulling.

I made a mold out to try to hammer out the main slide. Ended up not working. so I unsoldered one side of the crook to try and get one side loose.  it was still stuck. So I unsoldered the crook completely and soldered a junk piece in. This is the last thing we wanted to do, but everything else failed or started to damage the parts. Hopefully this works. Letting some pb blaster settle over the weekend. 

2nd slide pull with arbor using theusing the mold I created. Partially freed one side, but still stuck overall got mygot my 2nd slide out creating acreating a mold

 buffed my trombone bell  got my 1st valve slide off by using an arbor and hammer  freezing to get everything unstuck! started my draw knob holder tried the same approach on the 3rd valve slide, it crumpled...  getting things unstuck slowly but surely..
